Mr. Samual Curtis is a licensed Professional Engineer and has built a solid 20 year background in telecommunications consulting and engineering. His accomplishments include running a profitable construction/engineering firm as well as a Wireless ISP in Oklahoma. He is a hands-on technical expert fluent in designing latest technology network solutions including design, configuration and troubleshooting IP, Video and VoIP, MPLS, and all aspects of operations and management. He is also a mature and experienced business manager, with personal experience in contract negotiations, wireless vs. wireline analysis, and business case creation. 


Ethan Van Meter, P.E.,
director, engineering

Mr. Van Meter has experience ranging from advanced technical engineering and analysis to creative artistic design. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and has developed competencies in Finite Element Analysis, Structural and Telecommunications engineering, design, and analysis, advanced mechanics, machine fabrication, environmental design, and 3-dimensional modeling. He also has experience managing the engineering and development of a start-up durable medical equipment product business. Since Joining STS in January of 2014, Mr. Van Meter has completed training and received certification as a trained structural analysis engineering using ERI Tower Numerics "TowerTNX" software to perform structural analysis and design of telecommunications towers. Receiving this certification also solidifies his experience with and knowledge of ANSI/TIA 222-G revision for structural analysis and wind loading. Mr. Van Meter is currently studying to receive his P.E. license under the mentorship of Samual Curtis. At STS, he has developed competencies in mapping, fiber routing and construction, preliminary construction drawings, structural analysis, and environmental prevention and protection design, including soil loss and hydrology reports. Mr. Van Meter is constantly growing and learning new engineering disciplines and software's to expand STS's services and capabilities that they are able to provide to clients.

LACIE STANDRIDGE

Ms. Standridge has worked extensively within many different fields as an assistant to the GM of a fully regulated ILEC. In addition she has knowledge of the transitory regulatory requirements that the deregulated and regulated operations of progressive telecommunications operations need to meet in order to migrate to services to best maximize revenue potential. As such she has helped develop pricing models and competitive analysis for triple play services for copper and FTTH facilities as well as assisted in the acquisition of new services such as IPTV programming and content rights as well as middleware and EPG integration. She has specific knowledge of the expense and revenue mechanisms from an operations perspective that a fully integrated service provider generates and has developed internal control methods for tracking plant expenses and assisted in developing new methods for keeping costs in line. She has also worked on technology specific marketing and ad campaigns and rebranding that help target new revenue streams for service providers that need to broaden their existing customer base. Extensive knowledge and administration from start to closeout of Rural Utilities Service 515, 773, 217, 397 and other various contracts is held by Ms. Standridge. Reconciliation of unit based cup sheets as well as end to end invoice management in regards to construction and asset acquisition is also a key strength. Has negotiated, reviewed and closed out multiple million-dollar plus vendor proposals and understands all elements of single source or multi bidder proposals. In addition has worked on several multi-million dollar interim financing projects and understands the processes and record keeping behind these. Has structured multiple large FRS requests for clients and possesses a broad knowledge of RUS procedures and policies and keeps up to date by regularly attending workshop classes on the subject matter.


Ben Ray

BEN RAY

Mr. Ray serves as STS’s Sales Director, where he leads both the sales and marketing teams. He has over fifteen years experience in the Sales industry with an exemplary track record for increasing sales revenue for both large and small companies. Prior to joining STS in 2015, he served as regional sales manager for Hibu (previously Yellowbook), where he led the companies highest preforming region from 2007-2015. 

Mr. Ray is a seasoned professional with proven experience in sales, marketing, operations and project management. He brings a wealth of resources coupled with an unmatched positive demeanor. In the fast-paced and ever-changing telecommunications landscape, he delivers a level of expertise and knowledge to the benefit of both internal and external clients. 

 

 


CHANDA CURTIS
CFO

Mrs. Chanda Curtis has a background in business finance and accounting.  She has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 2o years.  She started her career by producing budgets and pro forma’s for independent telephone companies in the state of Oklahoma looking to expand their businesses into potential areas of wireless technology.   Chanda has a background in FCC Part 32 and 64 cost accounting as well as USDA RUS 7 CFR 1753.  She has worked in customer billing assisting intercarrier compensation for the ILEC industry.   She has experience preparing 217 engineering contracts and form 506 estimates for RUS telecommunication’s borrowers. Chanda is the CFO of STS, LLC as well as part owner.  Chanda has been responsible for all accounting, human resource and tax functions of STS since its inception.  Chanda holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.

RAJENDRAKUMAR VEERAPPAN

Mr. Rajendrakumar Veerappan has over 15 years of experience in IT and telecommunications Sectors.  He has a Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering as well as a Masters in Telecommunications Engineering (MSEE) from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Veerappan started his career working as a Java programmer.  In 2005 he joined STS as Sr. Systems Engineer.  Mr. Veerappan has a strong and versatile knowledge and experience in telecommunications, Information Technology, legacy TDM based networks, SONET, DWDM, VoIP, Cloud IAAS, OpenStack, Synnefo, Ganeti, Linux, Unix and Windows.

 


DILLON DAKOTA CARROLL, P.E
associate, engineer

Mr. Carroll is an entrepreneur, engineer, and expert in Lean Startup and other Agile Methodologies. At STS, he performs a wide variety of cross-disciplinary functions as diverse as tower structural analysis and environmental impact reports. He is cofounder of Levaté, a startup he cofounded dedicated to designing and providing innovative, independence-enhancing products to wheelchair users. Their first product, still in development, is the Levaté wheelchair lift. It was designed with cutting-edge human centered design and experiential prototyping techniques. He works as a consultant and teacher across the world to help others apply these techniques in their own businesses. He has taught Lean Startup, Agile, and Digital Marketing to hundreds of entrepreneurs in over a dozen spaces across Europe, the US, South America, and Asia. While working at the University of Oklahoma Economic Development department, he had the opportunity to launch and lead the OU Agile Product Design program. Through this program and others, he mentored or led over 7 student startup teams including 3 practicing social entrepreneurship. He has his degree in Engineering Physics, summa cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma.

A licensed attorney and member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 1983.  Legal Education degrees from New York University and University of Oklahoma. Graduated from the University of Oklahoma as a Member of the Order of the Coif and as a Member of the Oklahoma Law Review. Legal practice limited to commercial and tax planning, consultation, and litigation.  President of Critical Technologies from 2007 to 2017, a software company specializing in online document management for the capture, storage, search and retrieval of commercial airline maintenance records.  Managed the company to a successful and profitable exit in 2017 upon sale of 100% stock to General Electric Company (GE (NYSE), www.ge.com . Helped establish AtLink Services, LLC as an Oklahoma limited liability company in 2005, and is now serving the company as General Counsel.
